In a nutshell, we built that uh clamshell bucket that is going to be lowered down off the front of my boat with the winch.
It’s a big metal cage that’s basically going to straddle the barrel.
The barrel is laying on its side down at 400, right? 380. 380.
Um, and it’s just kind of in a silty bottom, right?
No rocks really.
So, it’s kind of a muddy, silty lake bottom.
This is literally a needle in a hay stack.
Luckily, we have the underwater drones and they are down there giving us a picture. uh they give us a live feed back up to the boat so we can see kind of where we’re at.
Once we get the basket down about what 10 feet above the barrel, we’ll slow everything down, make sure that we’re pretty much right above it as much as possible.
