However, the viral claims surrounding the images left out an important detail: the photographs were not recent.
The Photos Date Back to 2019
According to a report published by TMZ on July 24, 2019, O’Neal was photographed enjoying a yacht outing near Formentera, Spain, after completing several DJ performances across Europe.
At the time, the former NBA star was 47 years old. He was seen wearing blue patterned swim shorts while relaxing with friends aboard the luxury vessel.
The outing took place during a busy period for O’Neal, who had been pursuing music performances alongside his activities as a television sports analyst and public personality.
The original photographs subsequently resurfaced years later, leading some social media users to present them as though they documented a recent vacation.
