The post read in full:
Last night, crowds up on Short Vine destroyed property, set fires, vandalized vehicles, started fights—and assaulted CPD Officers who were just trying to keep everyone safe.
This CPD Officer was beaten and kicked repeatedly. The Officer required stitches and medical attention. This video is hard to see—and this is only the end of the video—it does not show the beginning where the Officer was jumped, nor does it show the duration of the assault.
If you know who this piece of shit is that is beating on this CPD Officer—or if you recognize the assholes standing their taking pictures—PLEASE either reach out to Crime Stoppers at: 513-352-3040, or feel free to reach out to CPD directly.
Please share this video far and wide, so that we might bring this Felon to Justice.
Local reporting confirms that two Cincinnati officers were injured while responding to large crowds gathered for a “Halloweekend” event advertised at businesses along Short Vine on the night of October 31.
