Repeat daily for one week
Morning: Wash the area gently with lukewarm water.
After bathing: Apply a fragrance-free moisturizer containing glycerin, ceramides, or hyaluronic acid.
During the day: Protect exposed areas from the sun with broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher.
Evening: Apply moisturizer again if the skin feels dry or tight.
Avoid: Harsh scrubs, crushed aspirin, lemon juice, and aggressive exfoliation.
This routine may improve hydration and skin comfort, but it won’t remove stretch marks within a week.
6. Do Natural Oils Help?
Coconut oil, almond oil, and other plant oils are often recommended for stretch marks.
These oils may soften dry skin and reduce moisture loss.
However, there’s insufficient evidence that they can prevent or erase stretch marks.
If you enjoy using a body oil, apply a small amount to intact skin after moisturizing, and stop if irritation develops.
7. When Should You See a Dermatologist?
If stretch marks are new and you want to explore treatment, seeing a dermatologist early may be helpful.
